Daddy needs a hair cut…

Hi guys, I’m back! It’s been ages since I last wrote a post.  I have still been reading all the blogs that I follow but I haven’t written anything for a while.

I will be writing an update post to tell you what’s been going on here at some point and I also have my next fundraising event and charity to announce but that will come later as I have something else to talk about right now…

I am beyond proud.  My Dad, who has had shoulder length hair since 1960 is taking part in a sponsored head shave to raise money for Hope House Children’s Hospices.  I can’t ever remember a time when my Dad had short hair.  I have lots of family pics with my Pops hair in various stages of mullet.  For example…

I don’t think he realises how cold it’s going to be after over 50 years of having long hair.  It’s also going to be very weird for myself and my brother because we have never known Dad with short hair.

The actual head shave event itself will take place on May 3rd and I will post details about it as soon as I have them.  I will also post picture of the event after it’s done.

If you would like to sponsor my Pa the link to his Just Giving page is HERE and also you get there by clicking on the Just Giving widget on the right —–>

Watch this space for details of this event and also my own fundraising event that I will be announcing soon.
